The Heart/Liver Separator is applied only for semi automatic separation of heats, liver and lungs from the rest of the intestines from chickens with an eviscerated wieght between 1000 and 2500 g.
Function
During operation the machine runs continuously. The complete intestine packs are placed on the carrier segments manually. The operator must pull the gall a little bit away from the gizzard. Gall, gizzard and intestine are placed on the outside of the machine, near the operator. Heart, liver and lung are placed on the inside of the machine, away from the operator. The intestine pack is carried forwards to the blade units where the first blade that is mounted in 45° is cutting off the heart, and the second blade, mounted vertically is cutting off the liver.
Capacity
The total capacity of the machine is 9000 intestine packs/hour The capacity depends on the number of operators. 1 operator ~ 1250 packs/hour
